I posted a voice memo recording of this song online and Thomas really liked it. After a long relationship of mine recently ended, I decided it was a good time to put this out into the world. After we recorded this, tragedy struck Thomas' family and he lost his aunt Grace. She is survived by four children, and there is a gofundme to support them in this time. 'The Moon', from the forthcoming record Pont Neuf. My new single is a bittersweet track called 'The Moon', just in time for the Strawberry Full Moon! This lead single was written about learning to heal from the loss of a friend, laced in lunar metaphor. I started writing the chorus on acoustic guitar and it morphed into a piano tune. My new album Pont Neuf is a love letter to chamber pop. Records such as The Beatles' Sgt. Peppers', Yusuf / Cat Stevens' Tea For The Tillerman, and Weezer's OK Human heavily influenced this project.
